Number Sequences

This game is called Number Sequences and it is about adding and subtracting decimals. This game is challenging because when I clicked on the game I didn't understand it, but when my friend Hilda-Rose helped me I understood it.

Spending Splurge

Yesterday we played Spending Splurge, I played with Asiana. This game is about financial literacy. To play the game you need dice, 2-4 players, book and the Spending Splurge paper. I had a total of  $1750 to spend . I bought pen & paper $6 ,a  prepaid Gold Coast theme park ticket $50, handheld computer game $150, snacks for plane $15, suitcase or bag $75, a passport $80, a digital camera,  a present for nana & papa $40 and departure tax $25.  In total I spent $641 and have $1,109 left to spend on food. I learnt to always be careful for what you buy.

Math man Multiplcation

This game is all about timetables. I learnt how to times big numbers to get to the next level. This game is challenging because I don't now my big timetables. The next subject I would like to learn is algebra.  

Reflection basic facts

Basic facts test 2 stage 6

In our basic fact test  I did well in  addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. My score was 572. I need to improve and work on is place value and symbols: <  > =. The best way can improve is to get on the internet or my sister to set challenges for 15 minutes everyday and to work on the ones I got wrong. For our next basic facts test I hope I can get close to 90% or 100%.

My survey

Walt: Plan an investigation and to display data.

My survey was about sports. I chose sports because most of our senior students love to play sports. My question is “ Which sport would you prefer?”

All the senior and some middle children signed the survey. My sample number is 30. The sport that was voted the most was Rugby, they had 8 boys and 5 girls. The least  liked sport was athletics. This survey was easy. The next subject I would like to learn is Algebra.      

My Explantion

The dragon was really big and furious however he was lonely. Inside him he's as sweet as a sugar cane. His claws are as sharp as a knife and he wants to make friends but everyone always runs away . 

The dragon has a tough, strong, green armour. Everything he touches always bursts into fire, but he doesn't want everything to burn. There is one other problem he lives in a volcano and that makes it even scarier for warriors to get into his humid cave to see him. That is why he is alone.

In Room 12 we can choose any character, I chose Meredith. 

Meredith is a young girl dreaming of be coming a kid detective in a movie. Meredith and her Mum are going to her grandmother's house on a train. She has blonde hair, stripy jacket and flowery top. While she is on the train she is going around talking to people that she meets like an old man, a lady and a girl. She not shy but she is comfortable talking to the people that she meets.
